Camping La Brouquere is an excellent starting point for a number of great walking trips. On foot, it is just 2.5km to the village of Gondrin. Other walking trails will take you in all directions on routes between 6km and 12km.

Another kind of walking trail is the La Romieu discovery tour. This is a short walking route through the beautiful village of La Romieu with 'The legend of Angeline and her cats' as the central theme. A great way to get to know La Romieu better.

Of course this discovery tour through La Romieu is not complete without a visit to the impressive 'Collégiale de La Romieu'.

There is now an interesting city walk through Auch, the capital of the Gers. The walk takes you past historic monuments, interesting places, shops, cafes and restaurants.

In the Middle Ages many people were taking on a pilgrimage to destinations such as Santiago de Compostela in the Northwest of Spain. One of the four classic 'Chemin de St Jacques de Compostelle' routes through France is the so-called 'Via Podiensis'.

This route starts in Le Puy-en-Velay in the Auvergne and passes by not far from Camping La Brouquere through the villages of Condom, Montréal-du-Gers and Eauze. This GR65 (Grande Randonnée) is a well-marked footpath mainly for pilgrims although the track is open and accessible to everyone.

The guide "Le Pays d'Armagnac... à pied" published by the "Fédération Française de la Randonnée Pédestre" proposed 40 different walking routes in the vicinity of Camping La Brouquere through the land of the Armagnac. Each route comes with a full description (in French) and detailed map of the track and an indication of the degree of difficulty.

Camping La Brouquere is an excellent starting point for several great recreational cycling/biking trips. These cycling routes ranging from 25km to 44km will take you in all directions over quiet country lanes, through medieval bastides and past impressive castles.

One of these recreational cycling routes follows the so-called 'Voie Verte', which is the abandoned railway track to Condom. Where most cycling tracks go up and down over the Gascony hills, this route is almost level all the way to Condom.

The more active cyclist who is looking for more challenging amateur cycling tracks will also not be disappointed. The Comité Départemental du Tourisme of the Gers has put together a collection of 16 such 'cyclotourisme' routes more focused on speed and kilometres.

The recreational Voie Verte cycling route along the Canal des Deux Mers connects the Mediterranean Sea with the Atlantic Ocean. This is quite a special (and lengthy) cycling route. From Camping La Brouquere it is an 1.5 hours drive with the car to reach Moissac where the cycling route follows the Canal de Garonne past a famous and immpressive aquaduct. Although a little bit further away from the campsite, this might still be a great idee for a daytrip.
