There are a lot of different camping guides such as the Cool Camping books, the ACSI travel guides and the Dutch camping guides based on the theme 'rustic campsites' in France. The Dutch tourist organisation ANWB also publishes a wide range of camping guides, e.g. the 'Kleine Campings Gids' (small campsites guide) in which Camping La Brouquere is listed.

Charming Campsite Guide

In addition, the ANWB now also offers a camping guide which is called 'Charming Campsites' in Southwest France. This guide (in Dutch) is called 'ANWB Charme Campings Zuidwest Frankrijk'. Camping La Brouquere is situated idyllically right in the heart of the Armagnac vineyards at the end of a dead-end path with a fantastic panoramic view over the rolling hills of Gascony (have a look at this panoramic photo).

Quiet, tranquil and cosy atmosphere

The atmosphere here at Camping La Brouquere is quiet and traquil with a homely feel to it. The campsite features spacious tranquil camping pitches where relaxing comes naturally.

Also, Camping La Brouquere is an 'Adults-Only' campsite exclusively for persons age 18 and older, so effectively without the hustle and bustle of (small) playing children.

Besides, here in the Southwest of France the department Gers (Gascony) is still unspoiled and hardly discovered by tourists. That means a beautiful countryside scenery dotted with medieval castles, abbeys and lovely fortified villages (bastides). No traffic jams, no waiting queues and no mass tourism.

Clean and luxurious toilets and bathrooms

Camping La Brouquere features private bathroom/toilet facilities. But the public bathrooms and toilets are very clean, spacious and offer all amenities that make your stay at this campsite a real pleasure. Toilet paper is always available in the toilets, so running around with your own toilet paper roll is history. And warm water and showers are of course available at no extra charge. So you'll be pleased to see that the infamous shower coins are not needed here!
