The Gers: Land of the Musketeers

D'Artagnan, the most famous of the Musketeers was born in Lupiac here in the Gers. In memory to him and all the other musketeers a big bronze statue is placed right in the town center of Condom just in front of the cathedral.

D'Artagnan himself has his own statue placed on the well-known majestic stairs in Auch.
