Grape harvest around the camping

In september the annual grape harvesting starts again in the Gers around the campsite. Harvesting usually starts very early in the morning before sunrise. Camping guests can experience this from close by, although they need to get up a little bit earlier than usual. But the harvesting you really have to see it for yourself. It is almost incredible that such a big machine picks the grapes but leaves everything else such as small branches and leaves on the vines. The camping guests are also invited to view the pressing and the vinification of the grapes into wine at the domaines surrounding the campsite. And of course a tasting of the different developing products is part of the experience.
