The Gers - the land of sunflowers

But the Gers is not just the land of sunflowers. The rolling hills of this authentic and traditional region are ideal also for other crops such as corn. But best known is the area for the lush green vineyards from which the delicious fresh and fruity Cotes de Gascogne wines are produced. Besides these white wines, also rosé and full-bodied red wines are produced, together with a unique aperitive, the so-called Floc de Gascogne, and of course the Armagnac, a golden digestive to complete a fine evening dinner meal.
