The river Baise flows some 15km east of Campsite La Brouquere. At Beaucaire-sur-Baise (just south of Valence) you can participate in canoeing excursions for tourists, for example individually in a canoe over the river along lush green river banks and past medieval buildings such as the Chateau de Pardailhan. Supervised canoeing trips are also on offer. A great idea for a day trip with the kids! If you prefer motor boats, these are for rent in the town of Condom, a few kilometers further north of Beaucaire.

 Supervised Canoeing Excursions
Every day there are supervised canoeing excursions departing
at fixed times (in the morning at 9.00h and in the afternoon at
14:00h). Transportation between start and end point is included
in these tours. Several such trips are on offer:
- Beaucaire to Valence:
The length of this canoeing tour is 7km and takes about 2:30
hours (14 Euro per person).
- Bonas to Beacaire:
This trip is also 7km long with a duration of about 2:50 hours
(14 Euro per person).
- Au Rythme des Gabares:
This canoeing excursion (full daytrip) takes you from Bonas
via Beaucaire to Valence (25 Euro per person).
Individual Canoe Rental
You can also rent a canoe individually and travel up and down
the river Baise (unsupervised) over a length of about 3km. Opening
hours of the canoe rental shop are each day from 9-17h.
