Here in the Gers (Gascony) in the southwest of France there are
various sports and recreational activity opportunities. Besides
walking
and biking other popular activities around the campsite are
horseback riding, playing tennis and even playing golf on the
18-hole golfcourse near Eauze. Or you could go carp fishing on
the lake Lac de l'Uby. Follow the links below to discover these

Golf
Club de Guinlet is situated some 15km north-east of Camping
La Brouquere and has one of the best 18-hole (par 70 / 5675m)
golf courses in the entire region. This golfcourse is open
all year to members as well as non-members.
In
the village centre of Gondrin next to the swimming pool there
are several public tennis courts. A large sports complex with
tennis courts can also be found in the town of Condom.
Some
15km east of the campsite, the river Baïse flows leisurely
through the countryside. In Beaucaire is a rental shop for
canoes. You can either take a tour of your own or participate
in a guide trip on the river. A great idea for a daytrip especially
with the children!
Horseback riding
Valence
Between
Valence and Castera-Verduzan there is a horseback riding facility
for children as well as adults. The english owner of Les Ecuries
d'Armagnac, Jill Trier, offers all kinds of horseback riding

Race track
Nogaro
In
Nogaro there is real race track formerly used in Formel
1 racing. Nowadays, often car, motor and truck races are
being held here. You can even drive around on the track
in a real racecar!

Water sports and carp fishing
Lac de l'Uby
Near
the well-known village of Barbotan les Thermes you will find
the lake Lac l'Uby. There are several water sports attractions
such as pedalos, surfing and sailing. There is even a sandy
beach, an outdoor swimming pool and a large leisure grounds
with lots of children's play equipment. The lake also offers
great opportunities for carp fishing. More information at

The
Walibi Aquitaine adventure park is not far from Agen and some
50km north of the campsite. There are many breathtaking and
exciting attractions for young and old such as a rollercoaster,
waterslides and much more. For young children there are special
attractions. A perfect holiday with lots of fun and excitement!
