Camping at Campsite La Brouquere means enjoying nature, space
and tranquility, however still with the comfort of modern life.
Part of our modern comfort is the possibility to surf on the internet.
Starting in the summer season of 2006, Camping La Brouquere offers
camping guests the facilities to access the Internet through a
dedicated Web PC (Internet Cafe) but also to gain wireless internet
access through a so-called WiFi Hotspot.
 WiFi Hotspot - Wireless Internet Access
Imagine sitting in front of your tent or caravan in the morning
sun, reading the paper (electronically), checking your emails
or chatting with friends using your own laptop computer. All you
need is a WiFi-enabled laptop and you are ready to go!
A WiFi Hotspot (802.11g) is installed at the campsite allowing camping guests wireless access (at a small fee) to the internet using their own laptop computer. At the camping reception your personal wireless access will be configured in no time.
Surf
the Web in the Internet Cafe
In case you did not bring your own laptop, or your laptop is
not enabled for WiFi wireless communications, you can make use
of the dedicated Web PC. This kind of facility is what is called
Internet Cafe or Cyber Cafe. For a small hourly
fee you can use this Web PC to surf the Internet.
Nature and Comfort
Not long ago the countryside of the Gers (Gascony) was the least developed in France. This region with its beautiful nature, vineyards and sunflower fields had hardly any access to modern technologies. Even power breakdowns were considered normal and frequent events.
This has changed significantly today. There are much less power
breakdowns, mobile telephone coverage is usually good and Internet
and ADSL are being introduced at a fast pace. Now camping guests
